Make a Resolution to Volunteer at LifePath Hospice

Are you looking for a meaningful experience that makes a difference in someone’s life? Do you have two-to-four hours to share each week? Then consider volunteering with LifePath Hospice.

Volunteers bring compassion and companionship to patients with advanced illnesses. They perform any number of activities, such as reading to patients, helping at mealtime, providing a much-needed break for a caregiver, creating a legacy project or just sitting quietly offering support. Specialty and professional volunteers, such as hair stylists, massage therapists and nail technicians, are in great demand. LifePath Hospice provides free training, and volunteers do not need any previous type of experience.

Potential volunteers can attend a 90-minute orientation session on Monday, February 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the LifePath Hospice Resource Center, 3010 W. Azeele in Tampa. All training is free and volunteers do not need any prior experience; however, potential volunteers must pre-register and undergo a thorough background check.
