Meet the Author Book Reading & Signing

Long-time Clearwater resident and internationally published author, Ronald Joseph Kule, will read a passage from and sign copies of his latest book, CHEF TELL The Biography of America's Pioneer TV Showman Chef, forewords by TV hosts Regis Philbin ("Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" and "LIVE! with Regis & Kelly") and Chef Walter Staib (PBS series, "A Taste of History").

The hard-cover book published by Skyhorse Publishing (NYC) is 452 pages with 70 photos and NEW Chef Tell recipes.

Chef Tell's life story is a timeless tale of opportunity beginning with birth under bombs in Germany, survival past his mother's suicide and a nightmarish "Hell's Kitchen" apprenticeship on an improbable journey to super-stardom in America as the country's first TV showman chef.

Tell blazed the trail for today's popular cooking shows and chefs. "Chef Tell started all this television madness about TV chefs," wrote Regis Philbin, who became friends with the chef after his many appearances on his show.

Chef Tell's Baby Boomer following of 40,000,000 fans was eight times larger than Julia Child in 1976. He was America's first "rock-star" chef. He made many appearances on many nationally popular TV shows and also appeared locally on The Jack Harris Show, and at the Plant City Strawberry Festival in the late 1990's.

Now, for the first time ever, his fans can read about the fascinating life of the famous TV chef who signed off every appearance with "I see you!" as told through the official biography written by Ronald Joseph Kule, Chef Tell's brother-in-law.

A percentage from book sales is pledged to IRON CHEF CAT CORA's Chefs for Humanity 501(3)(c) non-profit organization created “to help raise awareness and provide resources for emergency and hunger-related

causes."
