On any given day, 225 Hillsborough County children and teens
wait for potential adoptive families to come into their lives.
To help the children’s adoption dreams come true, the Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay is going on the road to 12 local libraries this month. The gallery features the faces and stories of children awaiting adoption within the county. Through photographs and videos included in the gallery, prospective adoptive families can get to know the children before they inquire about meeting them in person.
“The Heart Gallery exhibits are intended to raise awareness of our waiting foster children, engage the community in their welfare and secure permanent, loving adoptive families,” Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay representatives said in a media release about the library showcase.
Gallery images are on display at 12 libraries throughout the county and can also be seen online.
