Need to recycle an old cell phone?

Don't let your old phones take up drawer space. In honor of Earth Day tomorrow (April 22), take a few minutes to recycle your unused cell phones.

AT&T is encouraging Florida wireless users to recycle their old, unused devices, and they’re making it easy.  Wireless users – regardless of their provider – can drop off their old device for recycling at any AT&T-owned store in the Tampa Bay area.  Residents should remember to wipe personal data from the device first.

For AT&T customers buying a new smartphone, there’s even more incentive to recycle an old device:  If you trade in your old phone, and it qualifies, AT&T will give you an instant in-store credit for the value of the trade-in, based on its make, model and condition. So customers can earn a little green while keeping the planet green!
