Bicyclist Swipes Bus Driver’s Purse

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies are looking for help identifying the suspect.

Hillsborough County deputies are on the hunt for a man they say helped himself to a school bus driver’s purse not too long ago.

The man in question is stepped onto a school bus parked at 5925 Yorkshire Drive in the Town 'N Country area and took off on a bicycle with the driver’s purse. The incident happened May 20 around 9:15 a.m.

Surveillance video captured the man in the act and now deputies want to identify him so they can make an arrest.

The man is described as a black male between the age of 20 and 25. He stands about 5 feet, 9 inches and 5 feet, 11 inches in height and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. He has a tan complexion, medium build and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a T-shirt that was gray and black in color, black jean shorts and black sneakers.

The man was riding a dark-colored mountain bike.
