Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are turning to area residents for help locating a man reported missing from the Odessa area today.

According to a media release, Jordon Connell, 32, was last seen around 4:50 p.m. today driving a red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado truck with Florida tag No. H55ONX.
Connell of Jones Road is classified as a missing, endangered adult. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a long sleeve striped shirt, jeans and brown shoes, according to the release.

Connell attempted suicide over the weekend, but was stopped by family members, the release said.
Today, he “became intoxicated and told his father that he was going to kill himself,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman Debbie Carter wrote in the release. Connell then left his home in the Silverado truck, she added.
