Grand Theft Warrant Issued for Tampa Man
Law enforcement say the man stole more high priced machinery and a work truck.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives are looking for a man who they say stole more than $50,000 in machinery from Baker Distributing Company on Anderson Road.
The crime happened on Nov. 3 when Carlos Portal, 40, removed
about $56,385 worth of air conditioners, copper wires, tubing, refrigerant parts, and $500 in cash from the business located 8110 Anderson Road, according to a sheriff's office report.
Portal loaded all of the items into a Baker Distributing 2005 Mitsubishi box truck and fled the scene.

A warrant for Grand Theft Auto has been issued in his arrest.
The estimated value of the loss, including the truck, is $71,385, the report said. The box truck has since then been recovered, but none of the stolen property has been found.
