A 44 year old refused to leave school grounds; authorities were called.

A 44 year old man was tasered after refusing to leave Westchase Elementary School grounds on Friday, according to a report by the Tampa Tribune.

Authorities say Thomas L. Durrance showed up at the school, located at 9517 W. Linebaugh Avenue, on Friday to confront his wife, who works at the school. The couple was reportedly having family problems.

Durrance demanded to see his wife, causing a disruption. When asked to leave he refused. School staff called the authorities. Once on the scene Durrance resisted arrest by swinging his arms and making threats towards the Hillsborough County Sheriffs deputies.
