Sheriffs Office Needs Westchase's Help in Solving Nearby Robbery
Man steals $4,000 worth in televisions while clerk is distracted.
In November, a man stole two two LED 3-D televisions from BJ's Wholesale Club in Town 'N Country, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
And now authorities are asking the community's help in tracking down the thief. The sheriff's department released a surveillance photo of the male earlier this week. He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and 250 pounds. He was wearing dark rimmed glasses, a black polo shirt and black dress pants, according to authorities.
The man was seen entering the BJ's, located at 7651 Waters Avenue in Tampa, around 6:43 pm on Nov. 16. He placed two LED 3D televisions on a dolly, waited near the exit of the store until the sales clerk was distracted and then left the store without paying.
