Blend Lounge Set To Expand
A recent zoning request would make it possible for Blend to add square footage inside and outside.
One of Westchase's favorite bars is planning to expand.
Blend Lounge wants to get bigger and add a patio to its location at 9526 W. Linebaugh Avenue in Tampa.
Under the wine and martini bar's zoning request the location would add about 1,001 square feet to its building and a patio area to the south of the building.

A clothing store used to be located in the space where the expansion would occur.
The expansion would mean Blend and its sister business World of Beer would encompass more thatn 5,000 square feet of space in the Town Center at Westchase shopping center, making it one of the largest tennants.

Blend must first recieve a zoning variance, since the business is within 500 feet of Westchase Elementary. The zoning hearing master is set to get back with the final word on this request today, Sept. 13, according to Hillsborough County zoning staff.
