Prescribed Burn in Westchase Area Today
County announces burn plan for Double Branch Road in Tampa.
The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department is conducting a prescribed burn today at Upper Tampa Bay Park, 8001 Double Branch Road in Tampa.
The burn will last one day. Prescribed burns are part of the management plan and is an essential tool to maintain and, often, restore the delicate Florida ecosystems, according to Hillsborough County.
