Skateboard Park Meeting Cancelled
The public meeting to discuss the proposed construction of the Northwest Skateboard Park Project at Jackson Springs Park has been canceled due to weather.
This meeting originally scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Jackson Springs Recreation Center, will be re-scheduled at a later date. The proposed project includes the construction of a 10,000 square-foot outdoor concrete skateboard park. The estimated design and construction cost for is approximately $600,000, to be paid for through Parks Impact Fees. Patch will update readers when a new meeting date is given.
