Westchase Dream List: What Would You Put on It?

The Community Development District is putting together its budget for 2014. What community improvements would you like to see included?

As the start of a new budget year approaches, government bodies across the county and state are crunching numbers and setting priorities.

The scene isn’t much different in Westchase where the Community Development District is also setting spending priorities and fee levels for the new fiscal year, which begins Oct. 1, 2013. The CDD has to set its “high water mark” assessment for Westchase homeowners during its May meeting. A final budget with assessment fees set for 2014 must be submitted to Hillsborough County over the summer.

The next CDD meeting is set for May 7 at the Swim & Tennis Club, 10405 Countryway Blvd.
