Rain-Soaked Fields Prompt Alonso High School Football Game Site Change

The first game of the season for the Alonso Ravens was supposed to be a home game, but the weather has changed that.

Due to the heavy rains, Hillsborough County Public Schools has switched the site of the upcoming Alonso High School football game. Instead of being played at the Raven's home, the game will now be played at Spoto High School, 8538 Eagle Palm Drive in  Riverview.

The games will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24. The game location change was one of seven in the county due to weather.
