The Tampa Bay Sentinels & the Tampa Bay Public Safety Charity have partnered with the Sports Center of Tampa Bay (located at 7235 West Hillsborough Ave, Tampa) to host a 3 day NFL-style football camp for kids ages
7-12 on July 12-14 from 9am to 12pm. Bring your kids out for 3 days of instruction from Sentinels football players and former NFL coaches.
Marking their 5th season, the Tampa Bay Sentinels are comprised of members of
Law Enforcement, Corrections, Probation/Parole Officers, Fire Fighters,
Paramedics, EMT's and military, spanning five counties throughout the Tampa
Bay area.
The Sentinels play full contact football against other public safety football
teams from the National Public Safety Football League to earn money for local
non-profit organizations. The Sentinels currently work with the Tampa Bay
Public Safety Charity (TBPSC) to raise funds for the MacDonald Training
Center, an organization serving adults with disabilities throughout
Hillsborough County.
The TBPSC is recognized as a 501c3 organization by the IRS. Their purpose is
to partner with Tampa Bay area organizations to help support local
non-profits. The TBPSC has worked to raise money for the Fallen Firefighters
Survivors Foundation, West Florida Fools, Curtis and Kocab Memorial Fund, Up
with Downs of Pinellas and the Tarpon Springs Boys and Girls Club.
