Daily Rainstorms On Tap For Westchase Through Week

The Tampa Bay area will not see any relief from rainstorms this week.

Westchase residents looking for a break from the soggy weather will have to wait at least another week.

The National Weather Service predicts scattered showers throughout the week with the highest chances coming today and over the course of what is predicted to be a fairly wet weekend.

Temperatures are expected to exceed 100 degrees today and tomorrow but will subsequently dip into the low 90s and high 80s throughout the rest of the week.

Light winds in the 5-7 mph range are expected throughout the week and thunderstorms are predicited to have passed by around 8 p.m. each day. With temperatures dipping into the mid 70s as the sun sets, the later portion of the evening may be the best time to hit your favorite outdoor venue or public park, just don't forget your bug spray.
