Volunteer Here: Hillsborough County Libraries

All library branches have Friends of the Library groups that coordinate volunteers, who do everything from raising money to restocking books and helping customers to leading reading groups. There are nearly 30 branch libraries and no shortage of work, especially since budge cuts have resulted in curtailed operating hours and fewer work hours for librarians. Volunteers can apply at any branch although officials ask that you apply at the branch where you would like to work. All libraries can be reached through the main library number at 813-273-3652.
