This place is packed on friday and saturday nights! Im going there tonight for a mid week girls night.

*****

I guess people in Westchase collectively don't enjoy sushi. I can't believe this place is not jam-packed all the time.

We got a Groupon for this place a few months ago so we went to check it out. I was expecting mediocre sushi and service since we never see it crowded. We were very pleasantly surprised!

The rolls are inventive and different (steak on a sushi roll? awesome!). The rolls were tightly rolled (which is a big one for me, I hate a roll that falls apart because it's wrapped too loosely). We got a few different rolls and they were all fantastic. We've been back a few times now and have always had very good service (and fast since it's not crowded).

The patio is a nice place to sit that's covered so you are out of the sun. The inside is cool and kitchy with a fun atmosphere. It seems un-kid friendly because it's dark and seems so quiet but plenty of hip kids were in there when we have been there. And we take our 5-year-old all the time. They have a kid's menu with tempura and some other items. Getting the chance to eat with chopsticks will make our kid try anything so she's now hooked on chicken and veggies tempura.
