The show is called "Burger Bash" and will be in Miami.
A local eatery will be represented in Miami this week during Food Network's Burger Bash in Miami, according to an article on TBO.com. Chef Shane Schaibly, who is the corporate chef for Tampa's Front Burner Brands, according to the article, will cook as corporate chef on behalf of Burger 21, which has locations in Westchase and Carrollwood. The Burger 21 of Carrollwood was voted as the Carrollwood-Northdale Patch Readers Choice award winner for Best Burger in 2012. What better pairing is there than a burger and a beer? This week, Cheers Westchase! heads to Burger 21 for just that combo. The Beer: Magic Hat #9 is brewed in Burlington, Vermont by the Magic Hat Brewing Company. Not quite a pale ale, this is an English Ale made with apricot extract and contains 5.1 alcohol by volume. The Burger: Burger 21's head chef Chef Shane Shaibly suggests pairing Magic Hat #9 with the Black and Bleu burger. Blackened to perfection, it's stacked with lettuce, tomato, applewood-smoked bacon and bleu cheese crumbles. If you want to share with friends, the Black and Bleu also comes in a 4-pack of sliders. It seems Westchase's own burger maven Burger 21 is causing waves beyond the 33626. The Tampa Bay Times included Burger 21 among its list of Top 50 Restaurants in Tampa Bay. Times food critic Laura Reiley created the list by eating her way through the Tampa Bay region and choosing three eateries from each neighborhood.
