The Citrus Park boutique will remain open for one week, and will begin selling strictly online in about a month.
Owning a clothing boutique had been sisters Francesca and Serena's dream. That dream became a reality last summer when they opened Sorella Fretta in Citrus Park. The store, located at 11965 Sheldon Riad, specialized in classic and trendy women's apparel and accessories at affordable prices. But the realities of the economy have caused the sisters to change the course of their business. This marks the last week Sorella Frettas will be open. The store is closing at the end of the week, and the sisters will begin selling strictly online, said Francesca Fretta, co-owner of store. "We decided to close due to rent," Francesca said. "We pay $3,000 a month and they wanted to raise it. We were working for free everyday." The online store should …

Clandestine grassroots movement helps small businesses in Tampa.

To local businesses Kim Kenney is the ultimate Mob Boss. The Secret Tampa Cash Mob, a grassroots movement to infuse the local economy and help small business, is the brainchild of Kenney, a Carrollwood entrepreneur. Less than three months old, the Cash Mob has grown from three to 600 members. And like the Mob of old, you have to know someone on the inside to get invited to join a secret Facebook group. On Saturday, the mob invaded Napa Flair, located at 11967 Sheldon Road in Citrus Park. About 100 people participated in Saturday's …
