Man Shoots Pit Bulls After Confrontation
Two pit bulls were shot and one of them was put down, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
When a man saw three pit bulls confront a jogger Saturday morning, he chased them with a gun and shot two of them, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. One dog is now dead. A woman was jogging in the area of Ridgebrook Circle and Royal Cove Circle around 7:22 a.m. She was confronted by three pit bulls and stopped in the roadway, the sheriff’s office said. That’s when Lamb, 54, of 8457 Ridgebrook Circle, came out of his house armed with a handgun and chased the dogs, the sheriff’s office said. The jogger heard shots being fired and saw the dogs run from between two houses. Two of the three pit bulls were shot, and one was put down by a veterinarian. Title of article should be "Reckless discharge of firearm by crazy man". If you would like to take it further you could state his race. Dogs may have been aggressive and may have been a danger but this is just inflaming the hate of a stereotypes dog breed. The owner of these dogs is responsible for their actions.
