The coffee shops will host a pre-summer celebration with some cool drinks at half price.
Starbucks fans may think that every hour is happy hour at their favorite neighborhood coffee shop. But Starbucks will host a pre-summer Happy Hour celebration starting Friday, offering Frappuccinos at half their regular price. Happy Hour times are from 3-5 p.m., with the special running through May 12. Any Frappuccino drink is half price, such as the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino or the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino or the Caffee Vanilla Frappuccino. The two companies have joined forces to urge Congress to “Come Together” before tax hikes and spending cuts push America over the “fiscal cliff.”
On any given day, the Westchase area and Washington, D.C., might seem like they’re a million miles apart. Today is not one of those days. As Congress and President Barack Obama attempt to hash out differences to stop America from falling over the “Fiscal Cliff,” Patch and Starbucks are teaming up to urge Republicans and Democrats to “come together.” The two companies are working together to make sure Congress gets the message America wants a viable solution to the country’s financial woes. All Target Starbucks stores are offering the deal now through October 8.
As if we needed another reason to go to Target. The retailer announced that now through October 8 when you buy one Starbucks Mocha, you get one free at all Target Starbucks locations. There are a wide variety of Starbucks Mocha drinks including the White Chocolate Mocha, Peppermint Mocha and the new Salted Caramel Mocha. A recent Starbucks announcement regarding changes to its membership rewards program has the lactose intolerant community petitioning to keep soymilk as a perk.
Starbucks rewards members, brace yourselves. That soy in your latte will cost you come October. Starbucks riled its lactose intolerant rewards members with a recent announcement of some big changes coming Oct. 16. Starbucks' popular program rewards people with certain perks such as free soymilk, shots of flavor syrup and drinks, among others. The recent announcement was sent to registered rewards card holders on Sept. 18. It said soymilk and flavored syrups would no longer be offered for free. That change prompted some reward members to start a Change.org petition to convince Starbucks against it.
