Westchase Thanksgiving Closings, Openings
Most Hillsborough County government offices are closed for a long weekend.
As Westchase residents carve into their turkeys and enjoy their pies, most government workers in the area will also enjoy a break from the workaday world. Hillsborough County has announced it is closing most of its offices and facilities for two days (Nov. 22-23) to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. The closings apply to the county’s administrative offices, libraries, Head Start centers, recreation centers, senior centers and nutrition centers. Some regional parks will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
