Town 'N Country Man Arrested After Body Found at Christ the King

The scene of Tampa Police Officers and a dead body caused a stir at the church during an open house on Thursday.

A 33-year-old Town 'N Country man has been arrested in connection with a dead body found under a car Thursday at Christ The King Catholic Church in South Tampa. Tampa Police have charged Michael Stewart Marston, 8602 N. Sheldon Road, apartment 1201, with second degree murder in the death of 73-year-old Rolando Rivera-Arroyo. Police say Marston attacked Rivera-Arroyo after the two had a disagreement in the parking lot of Christ The King Catholic Church on Thursday morning. Tampa Police believe Marston stabbed the victim and proceeded to run him over with a car, according to a media release. They also say he left the man under the car and walked away from the church. Skateboard Park Plan Moves Closer To Reality

The county will accept public comment for the next 30 days before making a final decision about the location of the skateboard park.

  Northdale area residents didn't want it. Neither did people living in the Waters Avenue and Sheldon Road community. Nor were those in the Ehrlich Road area excited about a Northwest Skateboard Park coming to their neighborhood. But if Tuesday night's meeting at Jackson Springs Recreation Center was any indication, the Town 'N Country community would welcome a skateboard park. More than 75 people attended the meeting held by Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation department. The purpose was to determine if Town 'N Country residents want a 10,000 square foot skateboard park built at 8620 Jackson Springs Road. "We've looked at a lot of locations. Body Found in Pond At Town 'N Country Apartment Complex

The body was found on Friday by Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office. Details about the person's identity are unknown.

  Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at Baywater Apartments, 6910 West Waters Avenue, where a body was discovered in a pond on the property on Friday, according to authorities. The body was a white male in his 50s, according to this Tampa Tribune story. The cause of death was unclear. Deputies did not release the name of the man, who was found by a maintenance worker.
