The three female victims all lived at the same Citrus Park home. Police are interviewing people but have made no arrests.
Update 11:08 p.m. May 5: The third victim has been identified as Christina Soto, 35. She is in stable condition at St. Joseph's hospital. The investigation continues. Earlier: Two women are dead and one is in the hospital, after a triple shooting at a home in the Citrus Park area, where the three resided. The shooting occurred at 7420 Manhattan Drive on Sunday, May 5, at approximately 11:12 a.m., according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. A witness ran to the nearby District Three office, at 7202 Gunn Highway, and told deputies that a shooting had taken place at the Manhattan Drive home, a sheriff’s office media release states. Deputies say two men helped themselves to three stacks of Sean John clothing from the Westfield Citrus Park Macy’s.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies say two men with a penchant for designer togs swiped $2,346 in merchandise and then made their getaway in a black Smart car. Now, deputies are turning to Westchase residents to help them solve the crime. The shoplifting in question occurred March 19 around 7 p.m. when two men entered the Westfield Citrus Park Macy’s, 7801 Citrus Park Town Center, through the south-side entrance. The men picked up three stacks of Sean John merchandise and walked out without paying. The estimated price tag on the duds tops $2,300, deputies said in a media release. The credit and debit cards were stolen from a woman’s purse at Aston Gardens.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a little help finding a woman they say used stolen credit cards to go on a shopping spree around Tampa, ultimately racking up nearly $12,000 in charges. The initial theft occurred between noon and 2 p.m. on Jan. 24 when someone stole three of the victim’s credit and debit cards and her driver’s license from her purse. The purse was sitting inside the woman’s office at Aston Gardens, 12951 W. Linebaugh Ave., according to a sheriff’s office media release. The suspect than took the cards to six different stores on a shopping spree. The victim left his smartphone inside a restaurant and another diner snatched it up, deputies say.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies have released a video that shows a suspect wanted in connection with a Jan. 20 theft that occurred at the Steak ‘N Shake on Sheldon Road. It might have been a case of finders keepers for the suspect, but deputies say it is grand theft and they’re asking for Westchase residents’ help to identify the man. The incident unfolded Jan. 20 around 10:55 p.m. when a customer at the 12931 Sheldon Road restaurant left an iPhone 5, valued at $600, in the booth where he was sitting. Surveillance video captured the image of another customer walking up to the booth, removing the phone and walking out of the restaurant without attempting to return the iPhone.
