Hi! I am so excited to start blogging for the Westchase Patch!

A bit about me. I was born in Tampa, grew up in St. Louis, and just moved back by way of a handful of Midwestern cities; most recenently Cincinnati. By trade, I'm a journalist, specifically television news.  Right now though, my trade is Mom to a 3 year old boy and an almost one year old girl.

I've been a mom blogger for a while now on my own blog (thebestspart.com) and a blog for mom advice (poopwhisperer.com) and now here at the Patch!

I love the beach and won't miss the snow.  This fall you'll find me cheering for the Cards.  I love to write.  Laugh. Enjoy a good (or even just decent) bottle of wine.  I will try almost anything once, sometimes twice.  Taking pictures is my hobby.  One I hope to make some money doing someday.  I laugh at myself and my family first.  Cause if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?

I have a tendency towards incomplete sentences.  Regularly share random thoughts.  And hope you find me mildly entertaining!
