5 Things To Know About Pinkberry

The frozen yogurt chain opened its doors Thursday evening in the Citrus Park area.

Citrus Park now has a taste of Hollywood.

Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt , a favorite among celebrities, opened its second Tampa Bay location today at 7002 Gunn Highway 102
Tampa, FL 33624. The grand opening includes a free small swirl with unlimited toppings until 10pm today (Thursday, Aug. 11.)

A walk inside the shop reveals a cool, spa-like vibe replete with soothing green walls, ethereal white lamps and a floor made of small pebbles that we're told feel good to the bare foot. We can't be sure of it, but what we do know is that Pinkberry yogurt is good and good for you.

Peter Casey: In 2005. Our first store was in West Hollywood. (Pinkberry now has over 100 locations all over the world, including Kuwait, Russia, Turkey and Peru.)

Patch: Why did you select Citrus Park for this location?

Casey: What makes this area special is the great community. This location gives us a great chance to connect with the community.

Patch: How many flavors does Pinkberry offer?

Casey: We have six. Two are non-tart, four are tart. All are made with non-fat milk and yogurt. We have over 30 toppings and none have high fructose corn syrup. We have fruit cut fresh daily. It's a healthy option for people.

Patch: What's up with the pebbled floor?

Casey: It makes you think back to the beach. It's cool, relaxing.

Patch: What else makes Pinkberry special?

Casey: We take a lot of pride in our service. We have a premium brand, premium products and exceptional service.
