Corey knows Best. The Olivia Act.

I'm in the business of moments.  Capturing moments amidst life's chaos.  It's what I do.  I'm a Photographer.

Last week, moments were stolen from the families of 26 people.  Birthdays. Graduations. Weddings.  All stolen.

I want to do something.  And this morning I found it.  

The Olivia Act was started by a Photographer in Texas in honor of Olivia Engel, one of the sweet little angels who went to school last Friday and never came home.  Olivia's family had recently done a family photo session.  Pictures I'm sure they planned on using for a Chirstmas card and maybe a frame or two.  And now those images, those photos of their sweet little girl, are all their last captured 'moments' with her.  

I'm joining with Photographers across the country and the globe and participating in The Olivia Act.  Until December 31st, I'm taking nominations for a local family to have some moments caputured.  A family photo session (with images included) for a deserving family.  Because in a moment, it can all change.

And on another note.  I hope that the goodness that's spreading, the desire to help and to do good and be good to others doesn't just last until the dust settles.  I hope it lasts forever.  Because if we are capable of goodness in tragedy, we are capable of goodness, always.
